They must also demonstrate ability to be a self-starter, have good organizational skills and be able to work with deadlines.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManaging Receivables and PayablesAssist in processing PayrollAssisting in inventory managementReconcile daily end-of-day receipts and prepare bank depositsManage and maintain the safety program including documents, meeting minutes, inspections, training etc.Shuttling customers when requiredAnswering the phone in a courteous and friendly mannerDelivering excellent customer serviceScheduling customer appointments for tire and mechanical servicesMaintaining general office filing systemComplete monthly reconciliationProcess expenses accountsScan documents into EDMSWhat does it take to get on track?Administrative or accounting diploma from an accredited post secondary institution2-3 years of previous accounting, bookkeeping or general office environment3+ years performing administrative support in a retail environmentProficient use of various office-based software including Microsoft OfficeAutomotive industry experience is an assetExperience with Microsoft Dynamics would be considered a definite assetExcellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationshipsAt Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work, competitive compensation, a manager with a large support network, and the chance to learn and grow.Fountain Tire
