In this role you will be a member of the Maconomy Platform Services team to lead the deployment of the resource management tool People Planner within the Group to current and future users of Maconomy ERP system. You will lead stakeholder workshops to understand the business requirements. You will then transform those requirements into technical requirements for inclusion in the Maconomy Core programme. You will be involved through all project stages – Design/Build/Test/Deploy/Hypercare.

Reporting to the Maconomy Product Owner, this role is responsible for providing a good level of technical and process knowledge to support issues as they arise and lead the solution development and deployment of enhancements enabling our users to drive more value from our resource management solution with a focus on building professional services automation (PSA).

Working hand in hand with the Maconomy Platform Services team you will build relationships with our stakeholders, businesses, and vendors as a source of expertise in People Planner. You must have excellent interpersonal skills to become a trusted partner for delivery of the business requirements.

This programme will see People Planner deployed across our global Maconomy landscape to address the technology needs of project and resource management as well as employee utilisation function.

What you'll be doing:

• Ownership of the roadmap for People Planner incorporating the Maconomy roll out
• Planning and deploying People Planner in new and existing Maconomy markets
• Establish cadence with key stakeholders to review the service we as a team are delivering
• Maintain expertise on new functionality/features/capabilities in People Planner and wider industry/technology trends
• Expert in the art of the possible with People Planner and providing creative solutions
• Manage enhancements from concept to delivery – on time, on budget and exceeding customer expectations
• Safeguard global design standards and principles against competing requests for change
• Ensure that the People Planner is set up and remains complaint and audit approved
• Ensure WPP is receiving the maximum service and value from its vendor
• Lead recommendations for continuous improvement

What you'll need:

• Global ERP support and deployment experience in a complex organization
• Outstanding understanding of professional services processes including resource management and systems in a global organisation; Maconomy/People Planner experience a bonus
• Good team leadership and management experience
• Strong ability to lead, inspire, engage, and coach a diverse team and create an inclusive culture across geographical boundaries
• Understanding of finance and management programmes
• Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders in IT and across the wider WPP business, investing time to understand their needs, and helping to breakdown any siloes or resistance to deliver desired business outcomes
• Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills
