We are currently seeking a highly experienced, charismatic and driven Food & Beverage Manager who can conduct the Townhouse Food & Beverage symphony and intuitively pre-empt the needs of our members and guests, and also our people. The successful candidate’s leadership skills will be matched by their technical expertise and passion for service.

The on target earning potential for this role is £54,000 annual salary - comprising a base salary of £48,000, plus a qualified estimate of £6,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

We’re also looking to attract International candidates as part of our International Sponsorship programme.

Reporting directly to our Resident Manager, you’ll be agreeing the daily operational F&B priorities with your management team, directing and guiding, ensuring the ultimate satisfaction of our members and guests, and the engagement of our people, is at the heart of everything we do
Visible across the operation, you’ll be motivating, inspiring and developing a strong and passionate team, ensuring each team member connects and fully understands the ingredients for the success of our Townhouse F&B offering
You’ll ensure your team consistently deliver exceptional service and are equally spell-bound by the magic and theatre of the experiences they create; you’ll be nurturing and developing talent ensuring that your passion and expertise are lived through others
Devising and executing a clear operational strategy and vision that aligns with our wider business goals you’ll be setting and communicating clear, achievable short, and longer term, objectives with your team to deliver great outcomes
Applying your strong commercial acumen, you’ll be continuously appraising the financial health and efficiency our F&B operation, ensuring that the right checks and balances are in place to manage costs and drive departmental profit effectively
Managing multiple workstreams at the same time, you’ll be balancing competing, and often conflicting, priorities, always with a sharp eye on the needs and priorities of our business
Ensuring the successful completion and implementation of our F&B projects for Townhouse, alongside the daily operation, is key to this role, you’ll be working to tight timescales, anticipating potential challenges, and creatively devising and implementing the optimum solutions
Working closely with all departments, you’ll take a lead role in identifying and facilitating opportunities for revenue growth across all food & beverage outlets
Developing strong working relationships with our Culinary team, you’ll work together to demonstrate that shared passion, clear communication, and living our values is what truly galvanises the team and drives excellence
Interacting with our members and guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:
An experienced, established and highly credible F&B Manager, you have an outstanding track record of success in premium luxury, whether this be in membership clubs or hotels
You have an insatiable passion for all things Food & Beverage, it’s more than your profession, your finger is constantly on the pulse and you’re always one step ahead of industry trends; continually investigating and identifying new and innovative opportunities for our business to tantalise our members and guests
Instinctively, you’ll know the Food & Beverage offering that is right for our brand, you truly understand luxury and anticipatory service and know how this needs to be represented and feel in our setting
Leading change, elevating an exceptional service culture, and driving consistency are second nature, you know exactly what great looks like; you also possess a strong drive to support and help others
Determined to create unforgettable experiences that get people talking about us and driving long term loyalty and love, you never stop asking the question is this the best we can do?
