Job Title: HR Coordinator
Salary: £33,000 - £43,000
Location: Leamington Spa
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Your role and responsibilities
Antech Diagnostics are seeking a motivated self-starter to join our growing People and Organisation team (P&O) as a P&O/HR Coordinator. This is a hugely exciting time to join a forward thinking dynamic organisation paving the way for a better life for pets. The main focus of this position is to provide specialist HR support to our Line Managers and Associates across the business. This will include functional administration for HR systems including testing, maintenance, and training. Working closely with internal stakeholders on HR system usage, data requirements and process improvement. You will also cover essential HR administration duties relating to new starter and leaver processes, contractual changes, reference requests and accurate recording of sickness/absence leave.
Key responsibilities and attributes include:
- Support and maintenance of end-to-end HR services in Workday including Recruiting, HR, Time and Attendance, Payroll and Benefits.
- Managing, updating and auditing workflows in the HR systems.
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards including special/custom reports of employee data in response to requests from users within HR, Finance and Management teams.
- Routine audits and data management tasks to facilitate accurate data analysis and to help establish KPI measurements.
- Manage data load requests and perform mass data uploads.
- Coordinate system related projects and process improvement including integration and updates to HR processes to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide support for HR, including researching and resolving HR problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Participate in implementation and updates of HRIS modules and ensure systems are properly working after updates by developing test plans and executing them.
- Key HR administration including the new starter and leaver process, contractual changes, reference requests, background screening and sickness, absence and annual leave.
- Administer employee benefits for UK associates.
- Manage monthly payroll process.
- Complete monthly pension administration in conjunction with payroll and the creation and maintenance of accurate Workday records for associates including all joiners, transfers, promotions, and leavers.
- Act as a point of contact for associates in the UK, which will include answering queries, resolving problems and investigating and/or escalating if required.
- Ensuring the timely processing of invoices for suppliers of UK P&O Services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date associates’ files and any relevant files on internal HR SharePoint
- Coordinate & prepare Internal HR news letters for European associates and assist with coordination of staff events
Experience and skill set required:
- Proven HR or P&O Coordinator experience.
- Relevant HR CIPD qualification is highly desired.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Employment laws, payroll rules, employee relations policies.
- TUPE knowledge is a huge benefit.
- Good working knowledge of Workday.
- Team player.
- Works well in a fast- paced environment.
- Excellent skills using MO programmes (Excel, Word, PPT).
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and readjust work priorities whilst maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to be discreet and confident making appropriate escalations if required.
- Always able to maintain confidentiality across all associate or financial information.
