Job Description

Manager, Strategic Alliances

PagerDuty is seeking a Manager, Strategic Alliances with a focus on go-to-market (GTM) strategies and partnerships with consulting and technology partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deal management, relationship building, and strategic thinking.


The Manager will lead the alliance team in launching and scaling GTM programs with key consulting and technology partners to drive PagerDuty's growth and enhance service delivery. They will establish strong relationships with partner leadership teams, both horizontally and vertically, to maximize the impact of our partnerships.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deepen relationships with consulting and technology partners
  • Lead the execution of joint GTM initiatives to drive lead generation and revenue growth for PagerDuty
  • Communicate PagerDuty's value proposition to partners through training, webinars, events, and other communication channels
  • Develop internal and external-facing marketing and sales collateral to support the partnership
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in areas of partnership expansion
  • Collaborate with PagerDuty's sales organization to facilitate account mapping and field-level relationships with partner sales, marketing, and overlay teams
  • Contribute to pipeline generation at the field level through direct sales and go-to-market partner organizations
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including business operations, marketing, product marketing, program management, and services
  • Accurately forecast partner influenced revenue
  • Act as a liaison between PagerDuty and partners to resolve issues and attain revenue goals

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or partner management
  • Must be fluent French, Spanish or Italian speaking
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and across organizations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field
