We are currently seeking a driven, self-motivated Seasonal Greenkeeper (April-October) with outstanding attention to detail, to join our Golf Courses team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £11.38 / per hour - comprising a base of £9.90, plus a qualified estimate of £1.48 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role...
You’ll be a key part of the team, working flexibly and setting up machinery on a daily basis
Using your eagle eye for detail you’ll make sure the morning golf course set up is consistently of the highest standard.
You’ll maintain a sound knowledge of all operating golf course maintenance equipment and the SOPs for the department
Monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security in the workplace at all times
Identifying any area of the estate which is irregular in terms of foreign grasses and/or disease, proactively highlighting this and being part of the solution
Assisting with the preparation of machinery for use and storage; undertaking routine machine maintenance
Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance and modern greenkeeping practices, along with new developments within the industry
Uploading your daily work schedule and hours on ground2control after the task is complete by using the devices available in the Bothy
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way
The kind of person we're looking for...
You’ll have complete knowledge of the plant machinery used for specific tasks and know how to ensure each is utilised in the correct manner.
Your knowledge of the relevant Health and Safety regulations is sound and well proven
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
It is estimated that in 2023, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £3,000 in addition to their annual salary
