Graphics & Motion Designer
The Graphics & Motion Designer for Traka Group is responsible for developing a suite of global assets from traditional print materials (brochures, pull-up banners, posters, stand/booth design, etc.) to digital content (digital advertisements, website banners, social media graphics & animation) with a focus on video content to attract new customers to the Traka brand, products & services.
This opportunity will allow the successful candidate an opportunity to apply creative flair to realise the brand guidelines from concept to completion within the Traka & ASSA ABLOY guidelines.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a global commercial excellence team; leading the graphics & motion design efforts working with regional and central marketing teams[ME1]
Key responsibilities:
Ensuring our brand identity and values are consistent across all communications working with the Brand & Communications Manager.
Lead on effective graphic design and motion graphic solutions for marketing communications and share best practice with regional teams
Design and develop consistent content throughout the customer journey, moving forward the following key initiatives:
- Ongoing development of brand guidelines working with Brand & Communications Manager, broadening the range of templates and content available via the Traka brand portal.
- Creating graphics & photography to support core communications, including;
- Brochures
- Datasheets
- Mailshots
- Exhibition banners & materials
- HR and internal comms support
- Digital banners & social media graphics
- Motion content
- Updating Traka’s corporate video & developing suitable edits for social media outreach
- Reworking existing content to deliver a uniform premium branded style
- Developing new content (video footage & animation) to promote the business, products and solutions
- Photography and ability to support and/or shoot at Traka’s own photo/motion studio on site in Olney
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ graphic design experience and a portfolio of relevant work
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. (Full Adobe Creative Suite available to utilise)
- Experience producing motion graphics, animations and video editing
- Solid track record of delivering successful design projects from conception to completion
- A high level of organisation, time and project management
- An upbeat, can-do attitude, and positive mind-set
- A team player with a strong and transparent communication style
- A passion for graphic design, constantly seeking out new creative ideas
- A strong attention to detail throughout all job responsibilities
This role will form part of the Commercial Excellence Global Team reporting to the Commercial Excellence Director and working closely with the Brand & Communications Manager and Digital Marketing Manager in developing marketing toolkits for our regional marketing teams to localise; support building up central graphics and motion content to share consistent branded messaging globally and minimise the need for local creation of standard content.
