Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the strategy and managing the day-to-day tactical planning and execution on the BOOST brand, the largest brand within the Active & Medical Nutrition division of Nestle Health Science.

Location: Hoboken - Candidate should be comfortable coming into the office on a semi-regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Director & Brand Manager on brand strategy, consumer insights, analytics and competitive tracking
  • Assist on ad hoc strategic internal projects as needed (i.e. Market business strategy (3 year plan), Integrate Commercial plan (1 year plan) process, healthy aging, etc.)
  • IRI reporting: weekly consumption, monthly brand book, quarterly brand-on-a-page, ad hoc requests
  • Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, occasions, path to purchase and behavioral drivers of the brand’s consumer through data and research to prioritize growth opportunities.
  • P&L ownership to ensure that key business KPI’s are met—revenue, profit, market share and Brand Health
  • End-to-end cross functional leadership to drive optimized portfolio & value chain
  • Lead the development of strategic revenue management strategies to drive long-term profitable growth for the business including pricing, promo, and price pack architecture (PPA)
  • Lead and launch pack and flavor extensions
  • Assist marketing manager on projecting end to end impact of business plan and prepare cross-functional teams to deliver (procurement, T&P, ensure supply, etc.)
  • Strategically chart a course for the category, portfolio, and brand using data-driven decision-making; uses the various business planning cycles to build compelling stories to rally internal teams and customers; prioritized rewarding sensorial experience like superior taste, alluring packaging, and breakthrough communications
  • Lead collaborative relationships with key cross-functional partners, including customer development, legal, regulatory and medical affairs
  • Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, occasions, path to purchase and behavioral drivers of the brand’s consumer through data and research to prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Experience leveraging data and trends to generate insights and transforming them into marketing innovation, brand building (communications) and retail programs
  • Lead consumer shopper activations, including account-specific executions: briefing and running consumer promotions, tactics and associated creative to bring marketing plans to life
  • Plan and execute displays and other incremental customer opportunities
  • Responsible for cascades to consumer affairs and call center

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business or Marketing).
  • MBA strongly preferred (equivalent work experience that is uniquely well-suited and significant may be considered).
  • 2+ years in either in retail marketing management or sales on consumer brand(s) with national presence and coordinated media strategy including advertising, consumer promotions and customer partnership or Relevant Experience and Education
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze brand shipment and consumption performance to extract insights that explain business performance
  • Strong detail orientation to manage multiple workstreams at once and the largest budget in Professional Health
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams
  • Strong interpersonal/communications skills
  • Collaborative, strong team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
