Our client is looking for a Company Accountant to join their award-winning, multi-disciplinary, design consultancy!
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board. Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and supervise the Accounts Team and their core tasks (Management Accountant, Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant, Payroll Assistant)
· Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning - update and maintain complex Excel models associated with the annual financial budgeting cycle, cash flow forecasting and strategic planning.
· Statutory accounts and audit - planning, preparation of audit files, reviewing statutory accounts for clearance, Companies House filing
· Liaising with Auditors on site as required.
· Corporation tax - calculation of tax in advance payments, checking of computations for provisioning and final return, preparation and review of R&D claims, liaising with their tax partner regarding international tax queries
· Pensions - ensuring compliance with auto enrolment requirements, management of pension contributions via their Pension provider’s digital platform
· Employee benefits - liaising with their employee benefits consultant regarding pensions governance, annual planning documents and preparation and submission of P11Ds
· Insurance - coordinate and prepare documents and data for the annual renewal, liaising with their broker regarding insurance queries
· Administer on line banking
· Monitor the storage, retention and destruction of accounting documents and data in accordance with legislation and GDPR procedures
· Attendance & reporting at monthly Board meetings as required
About You:

- Able to produce concise and accurate records and reports with a high level of attention to detail
- IT Literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Able to work to intermediate level on Excel in order to produce a variety of statistics and reports
- Hold a relevant accountancy qualification and combination of experience. CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
- Experience using Access Dimensions and Focal Point would be advantageous
- Experience of project accounting reporting would be advantageous

Salary: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
