Job Description Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a naturally curious and analytically minded individual to join our Analysis & Insight team within Retail Finance & Data Management (RFDM).
We are currently recruiting for 5 roles which will provide high-quality finance support to the newly formed Consumer Lending & Customer Relationships businesses. The roles are hugely varied with no two days the same and are broadly centred around: Strategy & Investment, FTE management, Direct Cost Management and Indirect Cost Analysis.

Job Description
What will I be involved with?
Retail Finance A&I is made up of 7 teams & c100 FTE. These 5 vacant roles currently sit across 2 of the teams who work very closely together (A&I Channels and A&I Products), and between them provide support to the full breadth of the Retail business – over 50% of the groups entire FTE base.
Whilst the roles are all unique & have their own responsibilities, there are core similarities across all of them.
You will be responsible for shaping financial forecasts, undertaking deep dives into business performance issues, influencing strategic cost benefit decisions, as well as providing valuable data-led insight to the business on the back of well-considered & concise analysis.
You’ll interact & influence a broad range of customers and will communicate directly with finance business partners & a large network of colleagues across the Retail business.
About You
We're looking for someone who can learn subject matter expertise quickly, is driven, curious, and enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Background that are important for this role are:

High degree of numeracy and ability to understand and process complex data into a clear succinct story

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Consistent record of managing senior stakeholders, including preparation and delivery of high-quality analytical insight

Ability to thrive in a varied & fast-paced working environment

Having a financial qualification, or proactively working towards one, is considered helpful but not essential, however need relevant finance experience

Whilst we work flexibly across the team, we do have a hybrid working style which means we would look for you to be in one of our offices 2 days a week (40% of time)

We work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.
