Senior Neuro/MSK Physiotherapist

We have an opportunity for a Senior Neuro/MSK Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern Monday - Friday, covering the occasional Saturday.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 4 years post qualification Physiotherapy experience especially in MSK assessment and treatment.

A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy

Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC)

Full Clean Driving Licence.

Experience in Neurology
-
Previous experience of treating a wide range of MSK conditions, post-op orthopaedic patients and complex neurological patients
Duties of this role include:

To undertake a comprehensive assessment of MSK and Neurological patients including those with diverse or complex needs.

Evaluate patient progress, reassess treatment programmes as an autonomous therapist and work effectivly with the wider MDT.

To be responsible for the day to day running of the out-patient and in patient rehabilitation department. This will include managing a patient caseload; mentoring other staff and the business development of the out-patient service

To ensure the necessary processes are in place to support the day to day running of the out-patient department within a safe governance framework
