Job overview

Do you want to play a key role in supporting patient pathways at NUH and preventing avoidable delays in care? Are you hard-working, organised and passionate in the work that you do? Are you looking for a challenge and the chance to be part of our Trust recovery from COVID? If so- this is the job for you!

We have had funding approved for 5 additional Referral to Treatment Validators to support the Trust in managing the large number of patients we have on our waiting lists following COVID. This will consist of 2 permanent posts and 3 fixed term (for 24 months) posts. At the end of the 24 months, there will be a review to determine if the fixed term posts will be extended. These roles will be mainly work from home

These are key administrative roles to ensure that our patient pathways are robustly tracked and monitored. Working mainly from home, the post holder will use the Trust’s information systems to provide weekly and monthly comprehensive review and validation of inpatient and outpatient waiting lists

Although it would be beneficial if you have experience working at NUH or another NHS provider this is not essential to apply for the role. Instead we want to see applications from people who are highly motivated to make a difference to patient care, organised, conscientious, have an investigative approach to things, pay high attention to detail in everything they do, enjoy learning new things and can confidently navigate and extract information from a range of admin systems
