Terms and Conditions
Employees receive 30 days’ annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays.

Job Purpose
This role will support one of RCS’s cornerstone services – the In-Work Support
Service (IWSS). RCS is currently expanding its delivery of In-Work Support across
North Wales, Dyfed and Swansea Bay as part of Welsh Government’s expansion of the service across Wales.IWSS provides SME employees with support and therapies for mental and physical health conditions to help them sustain and flourish in work. The service also offers training and support to help SME employers create happier, healthier workplaces.
RCS previously delivered the service in North Wales from 2015 to 2022 through
European funding, supporting more than 7,500 employees and 280 businesses to improve their wellbeing at work,
Role Description
To coordinate effective delivery of the In-Work Support Service in North Wales or
Swansea Bay. You will oversee area-based performance, provide support, direction and supervision to a small team of front-line delivery staff, ensure effective internal and external communications, and build strong local working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regular service updates and reports, highlighting key achievements and any barriers to progress, and attending regular meetings with Welsh
Government as required
- Monitor performance trends to ensure service targets and KPIs are being met, and coordinate a proactive response to any identified risks of underperformance;
- Ensure that the service provided to customers is professional, efficient and effective at all times, meeting high quality standards;
- Provide effective supervision and line management support for the area delivery team, supporting inductions, and ensuring that staff have access to the training and support they need to perform and progress in their roles;
- Deal with day-to-day queries from the delivery team, and creating tools to promote effective knowledge transfer e.g. FAQs, case review meetings etc.
- Act as an ambassador for the IWSS across Swansea Bay, and build positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals and businesses
- Contribute to area-based marketing and promotion of the In-Work Support
Service through attending and presenting at appropriate forums, meetings and events;
- Ensuring that client files are maintained to a high standard, and assisting with monitoring and auditing queries;
- Provide a single point of contact for framework providers in the area, and maintain an overview of quality and performance;
- Contribute proactively to the ongoing management and development of RCS services and activities;
- Ensure effective internal communications between the delivery and central teams;
- Maintain strong collaborative links with other IWSS teams, sharing best practice
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of complementary local services and provision, researching, sourcing and collating information and resources, and ensuring the delivery team are able to signpost clients effectively;
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree-level or equivalent;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing high-quality customer-facing services.
- Proven leadership/ people management skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with proven track record of delivering programmes of work to set targets and deadlines
- Competent in analysing and interpreting data to understand trends.
- Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills at all levels, including presentation, negotiating, listening and influencing.
- Highly effective IT skills with the ability to use MS Office 365 package and a competence to use a range of CRM systems and web-based packages.
- Strong awareness of health and employability agenda and understanding of the challenges people face in finding/ sustaining employment.

- Ability and willingness to travel across Swansea Bay, with occasional travel to other parts of Wales as required
