Working Environment
Supporting the Brand & Partnerships Executive and other members of the Marketing Team to ensure Elior remains a market-leading business. Over an 8-week period beginning in July, the Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to support on the creation of new, propriety brands and maintenance of existing brands while gaining a rounded understanding of how a marketing department operates in a leading cross-sector contract catering company.
Job Description
Main Duties
-
Work with the Brand & Partnerships Executive to help create new and innovative inhouse brands to take to market from a design, food and marketing perspective.

Help put together creative briefs for creative agencies and designers for branding as part of the concept development process.

Support in the preparation of marketing briefs to food development team including competitor insight, menu analysis and trend information.

Develop brand support material for the brand or brands that will be required for launching them into the wider business

Support the maintenance and growth of Elior’s network of brand partners, Street Kitchen Collective.

Monitor competitor activity (new products, promotions and pricing) to support proposals and highlight any opportunities to the Brand & Partnerships Executive and/or Director of Innovation.

Support on cross functional projects establishing Elior as a market innovation leader including CSR, sales, supplier marketing, PR & Comms and menu development.

Skills and Experience
Experience and Knowledge:
-
Industry work is not essential, however the ideal candidate will be an undergraduate/graduate looking to pursue a career in Marketing or similar.

Keen interest in brands and trends in the food and beverage and/or grocery industry

Proficient user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
