An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well established friendly team for a band 6 nurse to cover a secondment.
We are a 20 bedded Respiratory admissions unit, which takes patients from the community, ED and GPs.
You will be working both days and nights and expected to support junior staff whilst leading the team.

The post holder will be:
An experienced clinical nurse, who would like to undertake a band 6 role, to further develop their existing clinical and leadership skills. Experience within respiratory medicine is essential.
The successful candidate will be part of the senior team. We have a band 6 nurse available 24/7 and as such you will be expected to be in charge of the unit. You will need to have the clinical and managerial skills to assist you. We can provide training and support to allow you to do this.

Providing day to day leadership for the Respiratory Assessment Unit & deputising for Ward Sister.
Working clinically, maintaining high standards of care.
Taking an active role in the success of the division and the Trust.
Be an advocate at maintaining patient safety, quality & improving the patient experience.
Act as resource, role model, develop staff & current practice.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

- Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (£41.90 for enhanced and £21.90 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay).
