The Company
This exciting company specialise in providing long-lasting, natural dog chews designed specifically for the hospitality industry. Their high-quality dog snacks are made from premium ingredients, ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of our furry friends. They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join their team and help drive the growth of the business.
The Role
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of Snacks for Dogs to clients within the hospitality industry. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. This position is based at our company headquarters, and you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
The role is a full time permanent position working Monday - Friday and you will be required to work from Head Office at least 2-3 days per week with hybrid (work from home) an option that can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the products, including their unique features, benefits, and suitability for the hospitality industry.
- Identify and target potential clients within the hospitality industry, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other establishments.
- Proactively reach out to leads through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, and social media, to introduce and promote the products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, serving as their main point of contact for all sales-related inquiries.
- Effectively communicate pricing, product information, and promotions to customers, ensuring they have all the necessary details to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and sales kits, to support your sales efforts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in the company's CRM system.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipment, and delivery of products to customers.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Previous sales experience, preferably selling products to the hospitality industry or from the pet care sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the features and benefits of the products.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of sales activities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
- A passion for dogs and an understanding of their needs and preferences is essential.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and client meetings, as required.
