Job Description
A Product Owner is required for an established platform product. You will champion the product initiatives and operations, as the critical interface between engineering and product management, maximising the platforms potential and value to the customers.
This Product Owner role is a permanent and full time role, working from home with fortnightly meetings in Birmingham.

This position will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the successful delivery of products to our customers, aligned with customer expectations and business strategy.
- Agile Development, Product Support and Communicating the product backlog to the technical scrum teams and leading Agile Ceremonies.
- You’ll turn well-ideated, validated solutions, product roadmap and customer needs into actionable epics and user stories and follow the eventual product feature into release and long-term support.
- You will understand and contribute to developing Product Vision and Strategy, prioritisation, and roadmap planning.
- Decompose epics into features and user stories, groom, prioritise, and manage trade-offs through flexibility in accommodating ad hoc request
- Maintain the end-to-end customer experience of the platform, ensuring a high-quality cross-channel user experience.
- Completely own product features as they enter development, test, launch, growth and maintenance, collaborating with Developers and Teams.
- Lead and support scrum teams, organising them into defined sprints and product releases to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value aligned with product strategy.
- Final stages including Write-up and Acceptance of User Stories, Training and Demos
We are looking for:
- Experience working with Digital products and services as a Product Owner/Data Analyst demonstrating experience and excellent technical grasp of technical and operations.
- Great communication skills with the ability to critically discuss requirements with stakeholders and feature teams.
- Ability to translate the product roadmap epics into scrum team epics, features, and user stores, organising them into defined sprints and product releases
- Experience of leading customer-facing digital products from concept to adoption, with experience in all stages of the product lifecycle
- A collaborative working style and ability to quickly build good working relationships.
- Awareness of Scrum practices and Agile tools such as Azure Boards, Jira and others.
- Creative, with an innovative mindset and the ability to create compelling solutions to challenging problems.
- Capable of managing all stages of the B2B environment (ideally SaaS) product life cycle with relevant stakeholder management experience is a differential
- Commercially aware of the ability to manage budgets and spending.
- An outstanding communicator and presenter.
