About the RoleClosing Date:Flexibility for balancing work and life commitmentsComprehensive learning and growth opportunitiesAccess to wellness programs and fitness passportAbout the roleThe Advanced Trainee-General Medicine will be a valued member of the Division of Medicine in providing in-patient and out-patient care in general medicine, acute medicine, and a wide range of medical subspecialities across Albury and Wodonga campuses. This position is accredited for 18 months of core training and a further six months non-core training available in a range of sub-specialty areas including Nephrology, Endocrinology, Respiratory Medicine, and Cardiology. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.MANDATORY:1. Current general registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).2. Successful completion of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Basic Physician Training program.3. Participation in the Continuing Medical Education program of the RACP that is required to maintain ongoing currency of training.4. Effective communication skills both written and verbal.5. Ability and willingness to participate in established roster.DESIRABLE:6. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of health and safety issues and of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation as it relates to 'Employee' and 'Employer' responsibilities.7. Ability to develop and implement initiatives of continuous quality improvement within the designated area of work with a demonstrated customer focused approach to service delivery.8.
