We now have an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 Learning & Development Administrator Apprentice to join our centralised specialist team.

In this key role, you will provide administration support to the Learning and Development team and act as the first point of contact for queries on learning events, E-learning and training. You’ll be responsible for receiving and resolving enquiries through phone calls, emails and correspondence.
You will also organise and book the delivery of a range of training for Swindon Borough Council employees ensuring training events are recorded. This may include some external bookings. In addition, you will support with the administration of Leadership and Organisational Culture programmes to ensure timely bookings and coordination of training sessions.
This is a fast paced role and would suit a self-motivated, driven individual with a willingness to learn.
Working in L&D in a local authority enables you to experience working with multiple services and professional groups, from Communications and to Finance, to Children’s and Adults services.
Our small specialist internal team design, deliver and continually evaluate the L&D activity to make sure we meet the services needs and offer the best professional development support we can.
About you
You’ll have a minimum of 3 GCSEs of Grade 4/C including Maths and English or equivalent.
Knowledge of office administration including Microsoft Office software packages; Outlook, Word, and Excel is preferable. You’ll have the ability to work unsupervised and maintain confidentiality.
Good communication, organisation and customer service skills are essential, with the ability to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers.
