Ride availability will be your number one priority!

Our team combines mechanical and electrical engineers, and you could find yourself getting involved in anything from preventative and corrective maintenance, conducting opening and closing checks, to being part of our annual winter maintenance program. You will be a specialist in your field, providing expertise to develop and improve our ride availability.

What we’re looking for

  • A “can do” attitude and endless energy and enthusiasm for the role.
  • An ONC, NVQ level 3 or BTEC equivalent gained through an Apprenticeship or college route in engineering.

  • Full understanding of engineering-related statutory requirements such as COSHH.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems of work.
  • The ability to read and use engineering drawings.
  • The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Previous work in a theme park environment is not essential, engineering experience gathered on other electrical systems may be equally suitable.
  • The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Have experience of using technical manuals, risk assessments and related documentation.

What’s on offer?

  • Starting salary of £43,260.80, rising to £46,784.10 upon successful completion of training
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing each year up to a maximum of 33 days
  • Merlin Magic Pass - 20 free tickets for you, your family, and friends to enjoy all of our Merlin Attractions across the world rising to 40 after a year’s service
  • Bonus linked to company and personal performance
  • Private pension scheme
  • 40% discount online off LEGO
  • 25% discount in retail shops and restaurants
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Plus, many more…
