Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our IT team. This role will provide full oversight and governance of all aspects of IT, systems, and communication. This will include the full documentation of all systems, development of the future strategy and then delivery to full implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive overview of current systems/processes and how these are currently interfaced
- Prepare the strategy for the systems and processes to support the future growth of the business, together with a roadmap for delivery
- Project manage the implementation of the agreed strategy within agreed timescales and budget
- Lead on the development of processes to support the interface with the chosen systems – challenging the status quo for the current ways of working
- Oversee all technology operations, ensuring fit for purpose and to appropriate standards
- Review and own implementation of all IT policies
- Manage the delivery of services through the IT team
- Purchase and manage efficient and cost effective equipment and software
- Control the budget and report on expenditure
- Build relationships across the business and ensure delivery of good service
Knowledge and Experience
- Graduated, in a relevant degree qualification or you have 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Great at building and maintaining good working relationships with people of all levels
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Experience of working at a similar level in a similar role
- Solid technical background in all aspects of IT and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A champion of change with the passion to make a difference
- Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage own workload effectively
