Job Description
Head of HR Operations
We have seen a great deal of change over the last few years which has led to many looking at their own personal situations, with work-life balance a key area of focus.
We speak with a lot of great HR people and have noticed common themes in terms of what people are looking for when considering their next move.
Is the business solid financially?
Will the role content keep me interested and engaged?
Does the business place strong emphasis on the development and wellbeing of their employees?
If you are going to move then you want to know the business is going to be there in 12 months, that the work is interesting and that the business is dialled into the development and well-being of their people.
Seems fair to us!
We are currently looking for a commercially astute Head of HR Operations to join a growing business based near Northampton. They operate a hybrid model, with the option to WFH the majority of the time as business need allows
As a business, they have weathered the storm very well. They are financially solid and looking to continue with their expansion plans.
In terms of the role content, it’s a real mix.
Interesting work though as you work closely with the HRD, taking a lead on organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, reward & recognition, talent and succession management and exit management. You will manage a small team of direct reports and also be involved in a number of improvement projects to support the ongoing business growth.
Everything their HR team does is focused on continually improving the development and retention of a high calibre workforce. This focus on employee engagement and development is key to their success.
This is a big challenge, and we are looking for a lot, however, in return, you will be joining an organisation that places great emphasis on its people and their ongoing development. The team is highly capable, very supportive and has lots of personality. They work hard, but also enjoy their time and will very much look forward to welcoming you to their team.
