Job Title: Business AnalystLocation- BelfastMode-Hybrid- 3 days from officeEmployment- FTEMandatory Certification IIBA AACResponsibilitiesReconciliations1 Utilize your indepth knowledge of investment banking processes and systems to conduct thorough reconciliations of financial data identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner2 Collaborate with various stakeholders including financial operations teams technology teams and business units to ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation processes3 Develop and implement best practices for reconciliation activities including designing and implementing automated reconciliation solutions where applicableBusiness Analysis1 Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical requirements ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory guidelines2 Conduct comprehensive analysis of investment banking workflows systems and processes identifying areas for improvement and optimization3 Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and document business requirements validate solutions and provide recommendations for process enhancementsProject Management1 Lead and actively participate in investment banking projects managing project scope timelines and deliverablesDevelop project plans identify key milestones and monitor progress to ensure successful project implementation2 Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including senior management business users technology teams and vendors to ensure effective project execution and alignment with business objectivesSenior Stakeholder Management1 Proactively engage with senior stakeholders including Clevel executives business heads and functional leaders to understand their needs provide strategic advice and build strong relationships2 Act as a trusted advisor offering expert insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders on investment banking strategies industry trends and regulatory requirements3 Effectively communicate complex concepts and information to senior stakeholders both verbally and in written form ensuring clear understanding and alignmentRequirementsMasters degree in finance Business Economics or a related field MBA or advanced degree preferredExtensive experience minimum 10 years in the investment banking domain with a strong focus on reconciliations business analysis and project managementDeep understanding of any of the domains Equities FX and Derivatives Payments Trade finance custody Asset servicing Syndicated loansProven experience in senior stakeholder management with the ability to influence and advise senior executivesExcellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutionsStrong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completionExceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiencesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholdersProficiency in using financial systems databases and software tools including MS Office Suite and project management softwareVDart Inc
