We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team at The Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation (LRF OCEHL). The successful applicant would be involved in the recruitment of research participants and collection of data and samples, as well as provide administrative support to the team.
The Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Oxford Centre for the Endocrinology of Human Lactation (LRF OCEHL) comprises a team of doctors, scientists and a research midwife, whose goal is to undertake ambitious clinical research to help women with lactation insufficiency. LRF OCEHL are investigating the hormones mediating human milk production with the goal of developing biomarkers for lactation adequacy.
The successful applicant would be based in the Oxford Safer Pregnancy Alliance (OSPREA) research unit on level 4 of the Women’s Centre in the John Radcliffe Hospital. This unit is a joint venture between the University of Oxford and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUHFT).
The suitable candidate must have experience of working in a clinical or research environment and have the ability to travel to and conduct unsupervised home visits. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to problem solve and use initiative are also essential skills for this role.
The post is part-time (3 days per week) with option to increase hours of work and is fixed term for a 12 month period in the first instance. Applications for flexible working arrangements are welcomed and will be considered in line with business needs.
