Create impact as a Risk SpecialistJoin the largest general insurance group in Australia and New ZealandYOUR ROLEAs a Risk Specialist, you will support the Executive Manager, Operational Risk in providing group-level thought leadership for the design, governance, and oversight of Operational Risk Management at IAG.Your role will ensure that risk management practices are fit for purpose, agile, and enhance risk maturity.This position involves building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared goalsThis is a 6-month fixed-term contract role based in Sydney.ABOUT YOUProven experience working in Risk Management or a related Risk discipline experience in a senior role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.Experience in the governance and oversight of Risk classes in a Financial Services business (Insurance, Banking, Superannuation).Proven ability to influence a wide stakeholder group and to work collaboratively across whole of function and broader group to reach a common approach.Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate risk theory into practical application which supports uplift in risk maturity.Applications close Wednesday 31st July 2024 at 23:59 AESTABOUT USIAG is the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand.
