Role: Artworker
Location: Nottingham, England, United Kingdom (Preferred On-site and available to travel to Nottingham office)
ROLE MISSION
Working in partnership with our client, the Artworker will be working directly for the clients and some of the largest advertisers in the industry. The Artworker will effectively and efficiently oversee and transform direct conceptual and design projects into finished artwork and will ultimately be responsible for the quality of output and the end-to-end execution of jobs, from brief and design through to implementation and delivery. The Artworker will have responsibility for multiple simultaneous live projects.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
- To bring an experience and expertise with a full print knowledge to produce projects, taking existing creative and prepare them to the highest standard
- To help drive maximum efficiency, productivity and the maintenance of the highest quality of creative artwork.
- To act as brand guardian to ensure all Artwork collateral produced is faithful to the client's brand guidelines.
- To effectively organise and prioritise workload, especially around deadline, and have the flexibility to respond to increases in workload/ tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Be hands-on with a strong focus on digital and colour management awareness.
- Working in an environment where the day-to-day work consists of high volume, high accuracy, consistent print artwork.
- Working on and producing a variety of print Artwork types including Cutters, HPOS and other general retail POS assets. Also included would be Merchandising and Leaflets, each to be produced a print ready degree.
- Bringing a degree of Repro knowledge to the account
- Have an ability to communicate and liaise with all the wider team about time management and levels of effort in regard to workload
- Being able to interrogate client artwork briefs to identify deficiencies within them that may need them to be re-briefed.
- Be proficient in Adobe CC, with particular focus on Indesign.
- Be a driven, proactive, helpful, and enthusiastic team player.
- To act as brand guardian to ensure all Artwork produced by the team is faithful to the client's brand guidelines and in house processes.
