Product Designer
Salary: National - £40,000 - £50,000, London - £55,000 - £65,000
The User Centred Design team defines how our customers, partners and employees interact with our products and services. Our team has a global impact, with our work reaching customers in Ireland, Canada as well as the UK.
As a Product Designer, you will ensure our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You’ll be expected to work closely with colleagues from Product Management, Engineering, Data and QA - driving all stages of the design process.
A bit about the job:
Within this role you will be working alone or with others to deconstruct briefs, then define and deliver designs using standard process UCD methodologies.
You will also be an active contributor to our team culture. And constantly looking to advance your own knowledge and take opportunities to share your learning back with the team.
You’ll also expertly manage the demands and expectations of collaborators and other teams, building relationships and representing the design team perspective.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience within general insurance and payments quote journeys would be an advantage
Knowledge/experience of how design systems work in a large organisation
Experience of presenting to collaborators at all levels
Gathering and summarising research findings from tactical discovery and usability projects
Confident leading projects and groups to define and sell a coherent medium to long term vision, with breakthroughs and short-term actions to get there

National starting salary between £40,000 - £50,000, London starting salary between £55,000 - £65,000, (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
