Specialising in difficult access our teams have extensive experience inspecting structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, and shafts across industry sectors such as Rail, Highways, Marine, Utilities and Defence.
We are currently engaged in the delivery of numerous projects throughout the UK for and on behalf of many asset owners, managers and a large diversity of engineering consultancies including Network Rail, National Highways, Balfour Beatty, Kier and Atkins to name just a few.

The Site Assistant will support the Rail Team with all de-vegetation and enabling work requirements. The site assistant will have a good understanding of how to identify, and work to, industry best practice and deliver excellent standards of work. Have knowledge and undertake safe work practices for yourself and those around you.
Required to be flexible with working location across the UK.
Other responsibilities include:
- To undertake a variety of enabling works including Brush cutting, hedge trimming, Clearing debris from Bridge bearings, Removal of advertisement hoardings, CCTV, Brickwork removal/reinstatement, Fence Removal/reinstatement and a flexible can do attitude to progress and expand our Enabling work ability.
- Be willing to develop through training and time served to progress your career.
- Work closely with the Enabling works Manager.
- Ensure that safety is always the priority, promote safe working practices. Any other administrative duties considered appropriate and competent to do.

Skills and Experience
- Recent experience in a railway environment or building site. (Essential)
- Full clean driving licence. (Essential)
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) (Desirable)
- LANTRA (Brush Cutter, Hedge Trimmer, Woodchipper) (Desirable)
- LANTRA control of Invasive Species (Desirable)
- Abrasive Wheels competency (Desirable)
- Confined Space (Desirable)
- Water Safety (Desirable)
- IOSH Working Safely (Desirable)
