Role Summary
The role plays a pivotal role in the delivery of Equiniti Customer Resolution solutions, CRM workflow management tool (MMX) and Insights Analytics (CIS). The core focus of the role is running large scale data migration projects for our Financial Services clients. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the delivery of data migration implementations to some of our well-known Financial Services customers and internal teams.
The role will be influential, assisting the overriding technologies and software that needs to be deployed and or developed to migrate existing customers from legacy on-premise products into our current CRM workflow management tool (MMX).
A successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with a strong experience in leading and delivering large scale data migration projects alongside an excellent understanding of SQL and SSL/TLS security. A strong working experience of data architecture, cloud technologies and tooling (ideally Azure) is also needed for this role.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- You will work as part of a team to review and understand existing customer data stores (structured databases and files) and comprehend how this would need to be transformed in order to be successfully migrated / imported into a Cloud or client hosted solution
- You will assist with ideas, designs and tooling for the necessary data migration activities.
- You will be involved in the gathering of requirements from all external and internal sources to fully understand what data and configuration items need to be migrated for onward customer satisfaction with the migration and go-live processes
- You should be able to review and understand existing customer data stores (both structured databases and structured files) and comprehend how this would need to be transformed in order to be successfully migrated
- You will be involved in localised internal testing and working with external stakeholders to instigate trials and live deployments of any necessary migration tooling to maximise efficiency and accuracy in the data migration process while minimising risk
- You will work at a technical level across all aspects of deployment to ensure that all of the necessary teams have the tools and training needed
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
- Demonstrable experience of working at a technical and architectural level on large scale Data migration projects.
- An excellent understanding of SQL and SSL/TLS security
- Excellent understanding of SSIS and SSRS
- Have demonstrable experience of working with cloud technologies and tooling (ideally Azure)
- Have a passion for technology and a desire to learn new things
- Highly driven individual who can create, manage and adapt to challenging delivery schedules
- Results orientated: strong desire to succeed, you will exhibit high levels of self-motivation, resilience, drive and initiative. You will take ownership of issues and tasks; you will follow-up, execute and complete tasks

- Organised and thorough; an excellent planner and organiser
- Understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in Data Migration projects, analysis and cleansing
- Experience of working in an environment of change involving new systems, new processes, and culture change
- Understanding of key systems and processes
- Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure concepts
