As the result of a secondment, we have a fantastic opportunity available to work as part of the General Insurance Sales Process team in Head Office Sales Development.
Our aim is to support the sales strategy and deliver great outcomes for our customers by providing our agency sales force with an effective and compliant sales process. The role is varied and includes developing systems and tools to support sales, process improvement, interpreting and meeting regulatory requirements, the creation of sale documentation and the analysis of sales data
Job Specification
Develop and maintain the General Insurance sales processes for our network of agencies, to maintain a compliant and effective sales process.

Design, improve and maintain systems, tools & sales process guidance and, where appropriate, training materials, to support sales teams in effectively delivering the sales process.

Conduct process improvement investigations on GI sales processes to identify issues, make recommendations and, where applicable, prioritise and implement changes to support agencies in operating efficiently in the delivery of sales targets

Monitor sales process quality through activities such as complaints and breaches analysis, to ensure it is effective and compliant. Recommend and implement actions to address root causes at a national level.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, including regional sales teams, agent representatives, Agency, steering groups, Training & Competence, GI Compliance, IT, Customer Services, Underwriting, Claims and other NFUM functions to ensure the effective delivery of objectives
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
A good understanding of the end-to-end sales process

Technical knowledge of General Insurance products and general understanding of FCA regulations

Experience of implementing process change (change management skills desirable)

The ability to build good working relationships with a wide range of people from different areas of the business and demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills

The ability to analyse and develop practical solutions to technical business or systems issues Strong written and verbal communication skills

A flexible and positive attitude with the enthusiasm and drive to deliver results
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”.
