An exciting opportunity has arisen at an award-winning Microsoft Partner for a Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant. The business is a fast-growing, industry-leading managed service and managed service security provider, delivering in to mid and large enterprise clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant to continue their development at an established Microsoft Partner. And as a Microsoft Gold Partner, the business has a keen focus on developing their staff and provides support for training and earning certifications.
This is a predominantly remote role; you must however be based in the UK to be considered. This role will also require eligibility to gain SC Clearance due to government-based customers.
About The Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant Role
As Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant your primary responsibility will be to provide technical pre-sales consultancy to clients, present technical solutions to clients at all levels of technical understanding that meet their needs. Additionally, your day-to-day responsibility will include:
- Working with the sales and project teams to deliver workshops and presentations.
- Assist the sales and business development teams in presenting complicated and technical projects to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with internal teams.
- Be an expert in the scoping, definition, and pricing of projects you work on.
- Support the development of junior by providing your experience and insight to update training when necessary.
Skills and Experience Required for the Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant Role:
- Previous experience in a pre-sales role working with solutions design teams.
- Experience around Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace, Intune, Cloud Computing and Cloud Security.
- Considerable experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Azure related projects.
- Confidence in communication and presentation, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Solution design expertise, delivering enterprise projects.
- Proven experience of guiding consultancy teams to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Strong written ability, as you produce project scopes, designs, and sales proposals.
