Part Time HUMINT Compliance Advisor

Working 3 days per week, 7 hours 24 minutes each day, on days to be mutually agreed
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic HUMINT Compliance Advisor to fulfil an exciting vacancy.

Working within the CTP NE, we need your skills and experience to promote the HUMINT Strategy of National Security investigations efficiently and effectively, making best use of advances in technology, as directed by the HUMINT Compliance Manager. This will involve ensuring all legal authorities are compliant and managed in accordance with existing policy, legislation and national standards across the 7 North East Regional Forces. It will also involve acting as a Subject Matter Expert and advisor to all Officers, Staff and relevant partner agencies.

- Do you have the ability to analyse information thoroughly and critically and produce comprehensive and detailed reports on a wide range of complex issues?
- Have you the ability to work on your own initiative and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines?
- Do you have strong communication skills with the skills and ability to deal with all levels and ranks within, and external to, the organisation?
- Have you a basic knowledge of current legislation including Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA), Investigatory Powers Act (IPA), Criminal Conduct Act 2021 and European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR)?
- Are you able to perform 24 hour on-call cover and be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the Department?
