The Global Medical Information Manager will:

Develop and execute the medical information strategy and content plans across assigned therapeutic area, as well as providing expertise on medical information requests including escalations.

Drive insights generation through the analysis of medical information enquiries in line with medical affairs objectives, providing timely strategic recommendations as applicable.

Provide medical information leadership at Tier 1 congresses.

Proactively identify and contribute to process and systems improvements to enhance the overall Medical information service delivery to HCPs and patients.

Lead key global projects with affiliates or cross-functional input to elevate Medical information and bring value to the organisation.

Provide leadership, guidance and support to GMI Managers / GMI officers in the aligned therapy area.

Deputize for the Head of GMI as required internally and externally.
As the Global Medical Information Manager (part-time), you will:
Medical information content strategy
-
Be responsible for developing and implementing timely the medical information strategy and content plan for the therapy areas (TA) in line with the global medical plans and launch/pre-launch activities.

Provide a comprehensive, accurate, consistent and timely escalated medical information service to both internal and external

Develop and maintain a library of medical information content for all marketed products or products in pre-launch phase, whilst working in close collaboration with the Asset Team.

Perform complex scientific literature searches

Be expert in the medical information inquiry database and content management module
Supports organization

Provide GMI leadership to affiliates through internal expertise or in liaison with Global Medical Affairs (GMA) teams and other Global departments.

Lead the creation and disseminate insights and trends from medical information enquiries globally and define potential actions / considerations based on the insights.

Work in collaboration with the Asset team and other departments including, but not limited to Clinical Research, Marketing, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality to support the business and therapy areas.

Lead or contribute to the development of the Medical Information booth at scientific congresses, ensuring booth coverage and supporting training
Leadership

Act as mentor for GMI Manager(s) and local MI representative(s) as agreed
Promotional and Non-Promotional Material – Medical input

Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of Global promotional and non-promotional materials

Ensure compliance with copyright regulations

Lead or contribute to the development of medical information processes, SOPs, guidance, and policies.
In order to be considered for this role you will have an appropriate level of qualification, coupled with an extensive experience in Medical Information within the industry coupled with experience in Specialty Care ideally in Rare Disease.
