Construction (High End Joinery and Cycle Products)
We are a global specialty ‘End of Trip’ and Commercial furniture brand looking for a trainee to support operations in delivering our pipeline and ongoing projects.

The Role
The role of trainee will be to support the operations team to deliver our ‘best in class’ locker and cycle rack products. Reporting to the PM, the role will be a mix of office, site based and working from home. As the chosen the candidate, you will use your planning and problem- solving skills in the delivery of our high-quality furniture and joinery products.
With ongoing skills training and strong support from senior management, you will establish yourself as a motivating cadet who drives for results.
Key parts of the role include:
* Good understanding of basic construction projects.
* Gets FAH philosophy of project management and able to work closely in a team.
* Clear communicator, able to prioritise tasks and deadlines.
* A person who sees the world in systems and can manipulate them.
* High Attention to detail.
* Tec savvy to the degree that you are willing and able to use Air table, Gmail,
ACONEX, 4 projects,and other document control systems.
* Quality focussed individual
Projects/Deliverables:
* Understanding scope of deliverables and when they are required onsite.
* Conducting site surveys and site measures and liaising with the team to ensure
project constructibility or utilising sub-contractor support to conduct their own survey.
* Ensure constructibility and QA checklists are followed and filed.
* Ensuring all materials are procured in a timely manner to meet client’s completion dates.
* Updating internal inventory database and procurement requests.
* Support managing sub-contractors and when they are required to deliver specific projects.
* Direct sub-contracting team to complete installs, within timelines provided at start of each week and to a high standard (snag free).
* Ensure materials for all jobs are prepped and complete prior to scheduled install (Includes fixings, materials AND documentation, (e.g., SWMS/online inductions) sample forms, O&M forms (including as built), and ITPs.
* Oversee work by contractors and reporting variations to management on projects where not initially allowed for.
* Coordinating site activities including deliveries and oversight of subcontractors, main contractor communications/issue management.
* Supporting projects from end to end (From receipt of a purchase order contract - through to billing at the completion of an installation).
* Representing FAH in a professional manner and managing expectations with client project and contractor teams throughout the project timeline.
* Corresponding with clients (e.g., builders) regularly to gather up to date information.
* Report all work completed weekly to Project Manager in order to invoice.
* Carry out stock checks of products in third party warehouse in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
