Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner
12-month fixed-term contract - 1.0 WTE

NORTH BEDS CAMHS: CENTRAL BEDS Emotional Behavioural Team (EB2)
We are looking for an enthusiastic CAMHS Clinician to join our innovative multi-disciplinary Emotional & Behavioural Team (EBT) in North Bedfordshire CAMHS.
You will hold a caseload of children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, providing evidence based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. You will also provide support to parents, carers and educational services as well as attending the appropriate MDT meetings.

Depending on the applicant’s interests, there are opportunities to join our Family Therapy Clinic, develop therapeutic skills in CBT/DBT, Trauma work, Narrative approaches, Compassion-Focused Therapy, DDP, Sand Tray work, etc.
We offer newly qualified clinicians half a day a week to spend on continued professional development for the first year post qualification, this can include training, spending time shadowing in other team/areas of speciality, reading, model specific supervision etc.
The main base would be at the CAMHS office, Rush Court, Bedford, MK40 3JT and currently there is flexibility regarding working from home. We are willing to consider candidates who would like to work part-time.
