The Opportunity
We are looking for a Data Assistant to research local authority datasets in order to collect the information or request it from the data supplier. You will be required to liaise with the data supplier both by telephone and email and ensure any data receipts are fully tracked and progress is recorded to ensure visibility to the wider team. Once the information is received you will enter the data onto our systems following a specified procedure whilst supporting the team with data-specific tasks.
About You
To be considered for the role you will need to have;
- Data entry or administration experience
- Analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft office experience in particular Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- An interest in geography or environmental sciences would be beneficial
