ABOUT KENZO: The fashion house of KENZO was started in 1970 as Jungle Jap, a boutique in Paris at Galerie Vivienne where the founder Kenzo Takada, sold his handmade women's collection. In 1993, KENZO joined the LVMH Group. In 1999, KENZO marked its 30th anniversary and the retirement of its Artistic Director Kenzo Takada. In July 2011, Carol Lim & Humberto Leon, founders of the OPENING CEREMONY fashion retail stores and private label collection were appointed Creative Directors of KENZO. Using the brand’s DNA, the duo have given KENZO their take on the revolutionary spirit with which the brand was founded. In July 2012, Humberto and Carol reintroduced the jungle to the KENZO brand. Today, with Carol and Humberto's passion for spontaneity and fun, KENZO has a fresh attitude with respect for the heritage of the brand. MAIN PURPOSE: As a Stock Controller for Kenzo in our Bicester Village store, you will maintain and operate an efficient stock room enabling the sales team to maximise profitable sales. Acting as a Brand Ambassador stock must be organised, managed and controlled to ensure the quality of Kenzo products is maintained and stock loss is minimised. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand Ambassador: • Embody the brand image and have a strong understanding of the brand DNA • Demonstrate role model behaviour that is representative of the Kenzo brand General Store VM / Client Management: • Actively drive your product knowledge to ensure you are fully up to date on the whole product range including product care, stock availability and after services offered. • Ensure the best client journey is delivered and support the sales team by preparing products and advising them on stock availability, where necessary, to support the team with replenishment on the shop floor. • Maintain stock room standards • Ensure all products are boxed, labelled and stored correctly in the stockroom and products on display are properly maintained to reduce stock damage. • To maintain a general awareness on aftercare of the products, the leathers and possibly damages which can occur when miss-handling these products in order to avoid stock loss of damaged products. Sales/ Business Monitoring: • Ensure all internal stock transfers are properly recorded at the time of movement, where necessary liaise with the personal shopping stock controller to find solutions to outstanding/missing/unaccounted for items. • Transfer stock between stores when needed to ensure that all processes are completed thoroughly, with relevant paperwork filed in an organised and coherent way. • Receive all deliveries and check that the stock delivered corresponds to the invoices and no stock is damaged. • Maintain replenishment to ensure sufficient availability of products on the shop floor at all times • Ensure stock loss is minimised by conducting weekly rotated inventories and bi-annual stock takes. • Resolve stock discrepancies by searching for missing products and relevant movements of stock in and out of the business. Team Management/ Back Office • Work with the sales team to maximise sales and ensure efficiency • Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to • Maintain the ability to build inter-business relationships with the host stock team and logistics department.

Profile

PROFILE & EXPERIENCE: • Education : to A Levels or above • Experience : minimum of 2 years’ experience in stock control in a fashion environment, preferably luxury • Software: Excellent working knowledge of CEJID, Microsoft Office and Outlook • Good team player and ability to work alone with high levels of motivation • A passion for stock management • Excellent at working and delivering against deadlines and the ability to work under pressure • Ability to prioritise and be able to multi task • Ability to establish a proactive approach in tackling issues and seek to identify and implement solutions • Proactive and positive in approach
