Flourish Education are recruiting for a Food Technology and Textile’s teacher to work in a committed school located in Handsworth. This role will involve Food Technology and Textile’s teaching to both Key stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) classes.
The ideal Food Technology and Textiles teacher will have a passion for the subject and excellent knowledge of both Food Technology and Textiles.
This role will be full-time with an immediate start, covering until the end of the academic year (25th July).
Working as a Food Technology & Textiles teacher you will be expected to:
- Teach Food Technology and Textiles, full time across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

Monitor pupil progress in academic Food Technology and Textiles

Prepare classrooms in preparation for lessons

Carry out full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking and attending CPD sessions

Create an attractive, inspiring and stimulating learning environment
To apply for this Food Technology & Textiles Teacher role, you will require:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or Textiles - Early Careers Teachers (ECT) are encouraged to apply)

Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School

Excellent subject knowledge of Food Technology and Textiles across KS3 and KS4

Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

As a Teacher of Food Technology & Textiles, working for Flourish Education you will receive:
- Up to £200 a day which equates to £39,000 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
