We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Engagement Administrator to join our team at the City of Portsmouth College (CoPC). The role is based in our Sixth-Form Campus located in Portsmouth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To support the Global Engagement Department with core business functions including general administration, letter and report writing, core international admissions processing, supporting the completion of paperwork required for external partners and data collection and analysis (student, agent and home-stay parent feedback).
  • To be the main point of contact for international agent and student enquiries and ensure continuity of service in our communications.
  • Carrying out designated record keeping (including but not limited to; monitoring the Global email account, updating and organisation of the Global Engagement Department e-filing and general filing systems, liaison with MIS to update international student records.
  • To assist the team with Global marketing, liaising directly with the College Marketing team (Social Media, Resources and Department literature).
  • Draw up instalment agreements, follow up non-payments, and record on a spreadsheet amounts paid and owing. Liaise closely with the Finance Team.
  • To assist with the recruitment and co-ordination of international student homestay accommodation, advising students and home-stay partners of accommodation details and providing necessary induction and orientation advice.
  • To organise and support the international students social programme which includes initiating, planning, organising and accompanying students (where appropriate) on day trips, weekend visits and social activities to ensure a positive experience for international students.
  • To provide ongoing personal support to international students, referring to Student Services where appropriate. Assist with the safeguarding of international students. Job Description & Person Specification Global Engagement Administrator.
  • To assist in other College departments (e.g Reception, MIS or Wellbeing) as and when required.
  • To give assistance at College functions such as Awards Evenings, Open Evenings (December, February and June) and Enrolment (August / September/January – international only), if required.
