Logistics Operations, Analyst
Overview:
Reporting to the Associate Manager Logistic Operations, you will support the day to day management of Logistics Operations in the Northern region. You’ll be ensuring compliance of the Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to business requirements, gathering operational metrics from LSPs and applying Lean principles to deliver root-cause analysis while driving Master Data accuracy. You’ll be responsible for the Book to Book (B2B) inventory accuracy at LSPs. You’ll be working cross-functionally with the different European Teams to analyze and solve problems involving inventory variances, receipt discrepancies, returns, obsolete damage, pallets management, PO’s in the past and unfilled orders. You will also work closely with the European based Logistics Analysts on key projects for the region.
Responsibilities:
- Gather operational metrics from LSPs and apply Lean principles to deliver root-cause analysis
- Partner with customer fulfillment team, customer finance, local sales and LSPs to solve day to day logistics operational issues.
- Analyze and solve problems involving inventory variances, receipt discrepancies, returns, obsolete damage, custom pallets, confirmations, past dues, and unfilled orders Inventory management.
- Management of the B2B inventory accuracy at LSPs. Inventory Accuracy, including book to book reconciliation, coordination and audit of cycle and stock counts and annual inventory stock takes
- Drive Master Data accuracy
- Internal escalation point for Secondary Freight day to day service issues and for Quality issues
- Support/manage returns and refusals
- Inventory Accuracy, including book to book reconciliation, coordination and audit of cycle and stock counts and annual inventory stock takes
- Work closely with remaining LOA for the European region
Experience you’ll bring:
- Strong excel skills with a focus on explaining the data.
- Good knowledge of logistics and working with external vendors
- Knowledge of VBA scripting is an advantage
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with financial acumen
- Eager to learn and to work in a regional Logistics Team
