Wolfreton is seeking to appoint Teacher of Languages to join our highly successful Modern Foreign Languages Faculty. Wolfreton is part of The Consortium Academy Trust from September 2023. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an optimistic and ambitious colleague to join our Languages team on the next phase of its journey. We welcome applications from those beginning their teaching journey as ECTs and from more experienced candidates on MPS or UPS. The successful candidate will have the ability to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students. They will have good subject and curriculum knowledge and be able to adapt and respond to the strengths and needs of all students.

About You
We are looking for a colleague who can teach French and\or Spanish to at least GCSE level; the ability to teach both languages would be beneficial, as would the ability to teach one language to A Level. You will hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and will be a highly effective practitioner, having the ability to ensure the young people you teach can benefit from your specialist subject knowledge, securing their own and being able to apply this.
As a teacher, you will be enthusiastic, optimistic, and creative. You will lead a calm and disciplined classroom in department where learning is valued. You will possess excellent inter-personal skills and will be able to communicate effectively with staff, young people, parents and other stakeholders. You will have effective experience as a teacher or trainee teacher of KS3 and KS4 and will have experience in the role of a form tutor.
