The Division of Adult Mental Health is looking for a Clinical Nurse to join their Adult Community South team. Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) provide inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups at several campuses across Metro South Health. This role works autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of Mental Health specialist nursing care. The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research. The role supports in management activities including portfolio responsibilities.This includes:Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multi-disciplinary context.Clinical education, training and supervision of students.The Clinical Nurse provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
