A Temporary Mid-day assistant is required to work with children with special educational needs. To help prepare the hall and playground for dinner and lunchtime activities, to assist with the supervision of children whilst they are eating and to support play activities and good playtime behaviour. Advice, guidance and training on working with children with autism will be given. This post will be temporary in the first instance.
Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust, and is, therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
