As part of the Retail Credit Risk team, you’ll have the opportunity to support our customers and organisation to ‘do your thing’ as part of ING, Australia’s most recommended bank.As our Senior Retail Credit Risk Manager – Credit Policy and Decision Systems, you’ll collaborate amongst a wide range of stakeholders and peers to support ING by driving initiatives; leveraging strong credit risk fundamentals, a technical skillset in analytics and insights, strategy optimisation and credit decision system solutions. You’ll solve a broad range of problems with freedom in how you design solutions.You will be integral in delivering on strategic plans with our business partners. You will play a key role in the digital transformation of capability across the retail business and be co-ordinating and engaging with senior stakeholders up to the executive level to drive key decisions and deliver change.You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy developing proposals with stakeholders and engage with senior leaders and you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference and achieve sustainable, optimised growth for ING.Ready to make an impact on our business?What you’ll doEnsure that strategies and credit policies are embedded through appropriate system maintenance and operational processes by closely working with stakeholders such as Product tribes and OperationsDrive proposals to senior management regarding changes to credit policies, risk appetite and portfolio management by utilising thorough research, analysis and insights to develop recommendations and obtain approvalsCollaborate as a subject matter expert on risk data, analytics, policy and systems with stakeholdersDevelop and monitor risk measurements and metricsCreate visualisation and presentation of insights and proposalsSupport the design of technical solutions which solve business problems and support the automation of credit policyWhat we’re looking forExcellent hands on knowledge of credit policy and prudential standards in the banking industryExceptional knowledge of Credit Risk Decision Systems – an ability to build from scratch credit decision system would be highly advantageous, in particular knowledge of DP3 or power curveIntermediate to Advanced working knowledge of SAS and SQL5 years credit risk experience (in Australia)Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional time management and presentation skillsWhat’s in it for youDiscounted ING Health InsuranceAn additional Rest Day to support your wellbeingAn IMPACT day to volunteer on an approved sustainability activityAbout UsAt ING, we want to make life simpler and more worthwhile – for everyone who banks with us, for the people who work with us, and the community at large, too.When you come to work at ING, you’re joining a team where individuality isn’t just accepted, it’s encouraged.
