Summary Description:Links Global seeks a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience including 5 years in support of Government projects involving duties such as strategic planning, capacity-building, community engagement and communications, partnership building, and hands-on technical assistance (i.e., grant writing, grant management). The project manager will oversee a team of staff that may include community planners, community engagement specialists, training specialists, data specialists, IT specialists, technical writers, and graphic designers. The focus of the project is supporting a national program for building resilient infrastructure and communities. The work location will be a combination of government offices, employee telework location, and Links Global's offices in Maryland. Estimated non-local travel is 10% of the time.Minimum qualifications are:Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in business related field. Master's Degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience and at least 5 years in support of Government projects.Specialized Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and/or 10+ years of project and budget management experience. Experience in working with emergency management, crisis management, or resilience programs is a big plus.Background investigation: Must pass a federal government background check.Duties: Supports the government's program manager in oversight of multi-level programs. Handles cross-team subcontractor support and program financials. Meets with Government program manager to discuss performance, propose initiative, and establish priorities as needed.The responsibilities of the Project Manager are to:Ensure contract conformance for all work performed under the performance work statement, to include contract performance, schedules, and costs.Organize, direct, and manage operational support required to execute the work detailed within the PWS.Assemble and manage teams of Contractor support personnel at multiple locations.Provide contract status reporting and documentation to the program manager.Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.Manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.Meet with the government customer in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and Links Global staff and senior management to formulate and review project plans and deliverable items.Ensure conformance with program project schedules and costs.Manage the project cost and performance.Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers, organize and delegate responsibilities to subordinates, and oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks.Proactively identify project and budget variance and cost-associated risks and report to the Federal Program Manager.The position is full-time and based on a salary of $125,000 per year plus fringe benefits.Submit a detailed resume (a minimum of 3-5 pages), provide contact information for professional references, and include a cover letter stating interest and commitment/availability in the position through at least October 31, 2024.Powered by JazzHRLinks Global
