Primary Location VIC - MorwellJob Description Summary The Cost Controller is responsible for supporting the Project Controls and finance team and projects with the management and administration of project costs. Inclusive of billings, accounts receivable management, forecasting with relevant project leads and managers and overhead cost management.About the RoleKey responsibilitiesStrong focus on Forecasting and Cost TrendingEstablish and Monitoring Project Baseline BudgetRegular Cost Reporting as per Company or Client requirementMaintain Risk register to include any change impact on Projects BudgetMonitor Actual Cost vs Budget and measure project EV based on CPILiaison with Finance team for compiling and submission of client progress claimWork with other project control team member to manage EV on Time and costBeing familiar with Finance Systems as JobPac and IFA as an advantageEnsure Purchase Order Creations are in line with Company Policy and Procedures.Creation and Maintenance of WBS CodesMaintain any requirement variation in registerParticipate in Weekly Cost Reviews when applicable.Assist the Project Accountant with Month End close-out.Be aware of Payroll, PPE, onboarding processes to assist where required.Attend Finance Team Meetings providing update on site cost issues.Promote Continuous Improvement.Champion our Principles, Safe working practices and comply with Group Policies.Department FinanceHow to ApplyIf this sounds like you apply now to the Service Stream Recruitment Team via the online application button.Service Stream
