Since their establishment 75 years ago, this family owned business now employs over 60 people at their Keighley based engineering facility.Because of their ever growing order book, this impressive manufacturer are actively searching for a CNC Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.The successful CNC Production Manager will easily be able to commute to the NORTH BRADFORD facility from surrounding towns & cities, including Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Colne, Nelson, Burnley, Barnoldswick, Shipley and northern parts of Halifax.Key Responsibilities of the CNC Production Manager will include:Leading, motivating and mentoring a team of 15 skilled Machinists, responsible for producing high precision components for a number of high profile projects in the MOD, Nuclear and Energy industriesLead the planning function and providing accurate information around work in progress & lead times to other stakeholders within the organisationEffectively planning and creating routings for machined parts, ensuring that the most efficient routes, methods and techniques are adoptedContinuously monitoring internal processes and identifying areas for process improvement & more efficient ways or machiningFor the CNC Production Manager role, we are keen to receive CVs from individuals who possess:Formal qualifications within a relevant subject, Mechanical Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 etc.)Previous experience working as a Machinist (Miller or Turner) within a high precision environmentStrong knowledge of modern machining techniques, practices and methodsPrevious management, team leading or supervisory experienceIn return, the CNC Production Manager will receive:Annual Salary: £40,000.00 (£21.00 per hour)Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including bank holidaysPension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (4% matched)Working Hours: 36.5 per week with flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays offered (6AM earliest start)Opportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150%To apply for this position, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV.
