Company DescriptionFloor ManagerFull time, permanent roleThe Hoxton is getting ready to open its doors in Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region and home to some of the world’s most famous masterpieces of Renaissance art, architecture and monuments. This eye-candy city is packed with culture and is the birthplace of gelato – we did not need any persuading to make it our second home in the country.The Hoxton in Florence will feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard. There is also a basement meeting and events space.More about us…The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do…Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.Ensure the restaurant/bar area are H&S compliant for each shift.Run the daily briefing for the restaurant & bar team.Coordinate and run the reservations system.Draft floor plan based on covers.Support with F&B stock; ordering and stock counts.Support with training for the F&B team.Labour scheduling.Cash handling and daily reporting of revenues as per hotel SOP’s.Responsible for the service on the floor and bar.Responsible for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.Work with the culinary team on menus, service and product availability.QualificationsWhat we’re looking for…Individuals.
