You are a team builder and staunch advocate for doing the right thing; acting as a highly organized role model who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and help maintain a work culture that promotes trust & respect, learning & development, service excellence, and inclusion; you are self-motivated and take ownership for driving your own performance; thriving on being trusted and being given freedom in how you do your job.This role is an exceptional stepping stone towards future senior Talent & Culture leadership opportunities within a highly respected global luxury hotel brand.Competitive Salary:$85,000 - $90,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and educationWhat you will be doing:Support the Director, Talent & Culture in strategically managing the Talent & Culture operation in areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits management, workers compensation, and daily administrative tasksCollaborate with Department Leaders and Senior Managers to strategize employee learning & internal professional developmentSupport Department Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified from Colleague feedback, as well as on performance management issuesWork closely with our Manager, Learning & Development to assess, develop, coordinate, conduct and track company and brand-specific orientation programs and training programsIdentify high potentials at all levels in making sure they are being developed, in support of succession planningEnsure compliance with Fairmont policy and legislation in all aspects of the human resources functionQualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in a senior HR role requiredExperience running talent development programs in a highly operational environmentCollaborative style, pragmatic and willing to work in close partnership with operational colleaguesConfident presenter and skilled facilitatorUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredJob Perks & Benefits:Subsidized staff accommodation providedComplimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shiftAccess to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwideHotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passesAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
