We provide in-depth paid training that prepares you to work with clients and to take the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam to earn the RBT credential!Position: Registered Behavior TechnicianLocations: clinics, public schools, daycares, and private homes in Lower Bucks County (Newtown, Warminster, or Levittown) and schools, daycares, and private homes in Northeast Philadelphia (zip codes 19111, 19114, 19115, 19116, 19154)Part-time Schedules: variable shifts between 8 am and 3 pm (Northeast Philadelphia) or 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Lower Bucks County), choose Monday/Wednesday/Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, or Monday - Friday!Full-Time Schedules: available between 8 am and 3 pm (Northeast Philadelphia) or 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Lower Bucks County) Monday - Friday plus 2 afternoons per weekHiring Bonus: $1,000 hiring bonus for full-time staff through July 31stPart-Time Pay: $17 - $20 base rates (additional pay offered for experienced candidates!)Full-Time Pay: $30,000 base salary (additional pay offered to experienced candidates!)WORKING AS A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANBehavior Technicians at Potential Inc. use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a medically prescribed therapy, to address the behavioral health needs of children (ages 2-18) with Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with clients following individualized plans of care that address client strengths, needs, previous life experiences, present-day challenges, and future goals. Focus areas include addressing cognitive, communicative, social, emotional, and adaptive functioning.Working as a Behavior Technician is a great fit for those interested in a career in teaching, childcare, healthcare, or psychology and who thrive in a one-on-one setting where you can see the difference you make in your clients' lives every day!WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WILL YOU GAIN FROM THIS ROLE?After training, you'll be able to work with children of varying levels of need, implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs following each client's individualized treatment plan, receive and incorporate feedback from your client's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in future sessions, maintain client safety and confidentiality, and accurately document client sessions by collecting data, writing session notes, and completing service logs (timesheets). You'll gain the training and experience required to take the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam and earn the RBT credential through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).WHAT SETS POTENTIAL INC.
